Songwriters has a new night = THE FIRST FRIDAY OF EACH MONTH, hosted by two famous local country musicians, Shelly and Lawrie Minson. This kid-friendly event is the perfect platform for local talent to showcase their latest songs to a captive audience, with young performers encouraged to take to the stage. You might even catch a glimpse of the next big thing in music - we've had guest performers like ASH DALLAS, LOREN RYAN, + INXS legend ANDREW FARRIS. Prepare for an evening of music, laughter, and friendly competition as two panels, each led by local performers and personalities, test their musical mettle.

Two Conservatorium teachers or friends join each panel, ready to bring their A-game. The house band keeps the energy high with live performances throughout the night.

Hosted by Noelene Bosworth, these evenings promise plenty of audience interaction and unforgettable performances from both teams. It’s the perfect way to wrap up a busy school term with a fun and engaging night out.
